Name: Siegfried (but everyone calls him 'Mytho')

Background:
Siegfried is the second (and last) child born to a pure-blood family. Although his parents are for the most part good people, they’re very strict, and expect him to follow in the footsteps of his overachieving brother, Franz. He often feels a lot of stress from trying to live up to the expectations of his parents, and that’s caused him to be at times very shy and not very open with his emotions. However, he’s very selfless—he believes that he should love everyone, and always places others before himself, even at great risk to himself. He’s also quick to believe the best about everyone, which has a tendency to make him a bit gullible.

When he was a young child, Siegfried (who has always been very curious) followed his family’s pet owl out a window and to the roof of the family home. He lost his footing and fell, but fortunately only suffered a broken leg that was easily fixed with magic. However, the experience was enough that he now has a fear of heights, and never sits nearby an open window if he can help it.

As he grew older, Siegfried grew to know a boy his age named Fakir, who has become one of his best friends (and, in fact, he considers Fakir more like a brother than his actual sibling). Although Fakir can be overbearing, Mytho appreciates his friend’s protection and often follows the boy’s orders without question. It was Fakir that gave him the nickname ‘Mytho’, and he’s grown so attached to the name that the only ones that call him by his real name are family members.

While Mytho is generally gentle and soft-spoken, after many years of trying to live up to his parent’s expectations and suppressing his emotions, Mytho has begun to cave under the stress. Although he can at times be difficult to anger, sometimes when he's overwhelmed with emotions another, darker side to his personality is unleashed. (This 'other' personality was later named Kyro by Rue.) This side of Mytho is a much louder, angry Mytho, and also tends to be very selfish—working under the idea that everyone should love him, instead of his usual philosophy that he should love everyone. This side of his personality terrifies Mytho, so he does his best to keep it in check and hidden. Fakir is the only one who knows, and Mytho has begged him to keep it a secret.

Background/Personality: Kyro is Mytho's seperate personality, brought on in Mytho's first year at Hogwarts by the stress Mytho felt (and still feels) to be 'perfect' for his parents. Selfish and cynical, Kyro's personality comprises of a large part of the negative emotions and flaws Mytho tries to hide. Where Mytho believes he should love everyone, Kyro has but one mission: to be loved by all, solely and unquestionably. When you first meet him he often comes across as confidently charming--he knows what people want him to say. However, if you stay around him long enough, you may see the mask fall away to show his true personality -- arrogant and hot-tempered, but secretly insecure.

The years of being forced away by Mytho and Fakir has done nothing to help Kyro's personality--he resents both of them with a passion. He wants nothing more than to take over Siegfried's body completely and to see Fakir shamed, ridiculed and alone. And he's starting to be able to take over Mytho more and more...
